Arguably the most eccentric and chaotic Umamusume at Tracen Academy, often seen goofing off in her own world instead of training, but somehow finds ways to win races anyway.

Gameplay
Gold Ship's initial release is a 2-star character (Red Strife). She shows initial A-rank aptitude on Turf tracks, Medium and Long distance races, and is best utilized as an End Closer. Depending on the others used as Inspiration, Gold Ship's aptitude as a Pace Chaser or Late Surger can be easily raised to an A-rank as well. A recommended strategy for raising Gold Ship is to focus on building Speed, with Stamina or Power in a close second depending on the skills you wish to build/inherit. Gold Ship shows incredible compatibility with T.M. Opera O and Symboli Rudolf (Character), among others.
Trivia
When Gold Ship wins a G1 race she happily runs towards the camera and dropkicks the player in the face. Apparently this is a reference to Gold Ship's real-life counterpart, who would often try to kick his own trainer before or after a race. Gold Ship also made a few cameo appearances in Cygames other famous property: Granblue Fantasy (Game). In the main game, she appeared as a Primal Beast during the Umamusume crossover event. She can also be acquired as a summon character with Mejiro McQueen. In Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising, Gold Ship can be chosen as a virtual avatar and assistant in the multiplayer lobbies. The real Gold Ship is the son of Stay Gold and Mejiro McQueen is his damsire. The Umamusume versions of those horses are friends in Tracen Academy. The real Gold Ship has sired around 230 racers of varying success. The real Gold Ship reportedly caused betting losses of 12 Billion Yen combined at the 2015 Takarazuka Kinen. He was the favorite to win the race, but for some reason he reared up at a horse in the adjacent stall as the gates opened to start the race, and by the time he caught up, the race was over.
