High Inquisitor Fairbanks

The rotting corpse of the previous High Inquisitor lies hidden within the Cathedral walls. How has he ended up there?

Background

Fairbanks plays a big part in the history of the humans and the Crusade, as he was Highlord Alexandros Mograines' most trusted advisor. When Renault Mograine betrayed his father, The Highlord, Fairbanks was with him. He was the first to fall from the massive armies of the Scourge (Concept) in Stratholme (Location), but he did not die. He had to listen to Renaults betrayal silently.

Eventually, Fairbanks could make his way back to the Monastary and shared his story with anyone that would listen. The ones that believed in him departed from the Scarlet Crusade and began creating what would be known as the Argent Dawn. However, the strong belivers of the Crusade did not take kindly to his words, and eventually he was killed and his body was discarded within the walls of the Scarlet Cathedral.

Corrupted Ashbringer Event

If you enter the Cathedral area of theScarlet Monastarywith the Corrupted Ashbringer equipped, it will trigger an event whereInquisitor Fairbanks is ressurected by the ghost of the Highlord. He tells a story on how to reforge the Ashbringer to it's previous state. However, he does not give the quest to begin the cleansing of the Ashbringer (Object).
