Jutaro is Murakami's colleague and his band had recently disbanded. He is a skilled karate practitioner and he teachers karate in a dojo. After Yashiro quit Happy Cycle Mania, Jutaro begged Murakami to apologize to Yashiro. Souta revealed that Yui was his girlfriend but he insisted that rock music is more important. Jutaro recognized that Souta still had feelings for her and snatched his cell phone and invited her to meet Souta.
