Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is a former professional basketball player, commentator, and social activist. Born Lew Alcindor, he changed his name after converting to Islam. He was renowned for inventing the "Sky Hook", a reliable, unblockable shot, which led him to become the game's all-time highest scorer. He was also an elite defender. He is widely considered one of the greatest players in the history of basketball.
