Kyle Yugrald (Kyle Eugrald) is an aspiring inventor from the mainland. He is greatly interested in machines, and thinks that machines are the ultimate sign of a civilization. He tries to create machines that he thinks will help improve the quality of life on Sera Island, but very little of them actually work, to the annoyance of Annie and the other alchemists.
