Sarah is recruited at the Old Sorceress Mansion, where she has become overwhelmed by grief (caused by discovering her daughter's death). A boss fight sees you preventing Sarah for comitting suicide by defeating the spirits that posess her. She joins the party permanently after this. Sarah is the most powerful and quickest spellcaster in the game, but suffers in all other statistics. She is best utilised in the back-row behind a strong guard wall, allowing her to cast powerful spells without fear of being interrupted or KOed.
