Wizpig
Wizpig is the major villain in the Diddy Kong Racing game. He is an evil pig wizard that comes from another planet to conquer and cause chaos on Timber's Island.

Overview
Not much of Wizpig's past is known, other than that he has a history of moving from planet to planet - challenging its inhabitants to races and destroying/conquering planets that failed to impress him. Upon reaching Timber's Island on Donkey Kong's world, he kicks Taj (Character) the genie off of his mountain and proceeds to brainwash four of the island's greatest racers: Tricky the Triceratops (Character), Bubbler the Octopus (Character), Bluey the Walrus (Character), and Smokey the Dragon (Character). Drumstick (Character), possibly the island's greatest racer, is considered a threat to Wizpig and is turned into a frog. Seeing the danger Wizpig poses to his island, Timber retaliates by forming a resistance movement made up of Diddy Kong (Character), Tiptup (Character) the turtle, Bumper (Character) the badger, Pipsy (Character) the mouse, Banjo (Character) the bear, Conker (Character) the squirrel, and due to an unexpected turn of events, Krunch (Character) the Kremling. In the DS remake, Banjo and Conker are replaced with Dixie Kong (Character) and Tiny Kong (Character). After defeating Wizpig, he flies away on his spaceship - accompanied with a menacing laugh and the words "TO BE CONTINUED", likely referring to the sequel that was never meant to be (Donkey Kong Racing). It is an interesting to note that these words are missing from the DS version, probably because Rare knew that the chances of a sequel under the current circumstances were slim to none. In an edition of Rare's mailbag titled "Scribes", someone asked what happened to Wizpig in his decade-long absence. In blunt Rare fashion, it was replied that he had been hit by a bus. On a more serious note, another issue of Scribes which provided insight on the development of Star Fox Adventures revealed that in early stages of development it was a Diddy Kong Racing sequel. To quote Rare, "Wizpig was even in it."
