Paradox Development
Founded in 1994 by Christine Hsu (Person) as Paradox Development, the studio was known mostly for developing the games Thrill Kill (Game), which never saw release, and Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style. Also for the PlayStation, they developed Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots Arena and the X-Men: Mutant Academy games. With the new console generation they moved onto developing X-Men: Next Dimension and the Backyard Wrestling (Franchise) games. They worked hard trying to convince Midway to let them develop a Mortal Kombat (Franchise) game and succeeded, the end result was Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, which was a commercial and critical success and ended with Midway buying the company.
