Monomi Park was founded in 2014 in San Mateo, California by game designer Nick Popovich (Person) and software engineer Mike Thomas (Person). The two had previously worked for Three Rings Design and in January 2016 their ranching game Slime Rancher (Game) appeared on Steam (Concept) and entered early access.
