Spiral Game Studios is an independent game and software developer.

Spiral Game Studios was founded in 2009, and have released several sci-fi and dinosaur themed multplayer shooters to date. They stirred some controversy in early 2012 following the sudden layoffs of some employees shortly after their successfully funded ORION: Prelude Kickstarter campaign. Some of the ex-employees and freelancers who worked on their games claim they never got compensated for their work, a claim that is refuted by co-founder Michael Prassel. There have also been accusations that they have used assets from other games, mod projects and other sources in their games.
