WindThunder Studio is a Taiwanese PC developer, who originally was a development team within TGL, Technical Group Laboratory. While at TGL, WindThunder worked on the Guardian Sword (Franchise) series of RPGs from 1998 until 2000. On July 15 2000, WindThunder became an independent developer and created the Heroine Anthem (Franchise) series as well as other titles. In 2003, Windthunder became part of Winking Entertainment, a group that mainly operates from Taipei, Shanghai and Nanjing. Windthunder created and released since then games such as Unearthing Mars, a VR adventure game on PS4, as well as the first arc of their new episode of the Heroine Anthem series: Heroin Anthem Zero.
