The bangsian fantasy is often a story trope or a plot line in which a deceased historical figure or well known literary character is interacting or communicating with the protagonist in the realm of the after-life. Although the term; bangsian fantasy, has rarely been used directly to describe a story arc in video game, or a protagonists interactions in said manner, the countless uses of this technique can be prevalently found in many different genres of video games.
