The Game Boy Advance Video franchise is a series of cartridges containing episodes of children's TV shows and movies. They were published by Majesco Entertainment (Company) between 2004 to 2007.
According to a press release on May 13th, 2003, the technology used was developed by 4Kids Technology, Inc.
The cartridges used have a digital rights management system that will block the usage of the GBA-TV cartridges on the Game Boy Player peripheral on a GameCube.
The videos are highly compressed to fit a Game Boy Advance cartridge. The resolution of the videos are the Game Boy Advance standard 240x160.
