Overview

The first year of the Giant Bomb's Game of the Year awards set the standard for years to come by providing a lengthy podcast that took everyone inside the decision process. For GOTY 2008, Whiskey Media built a separate section of the site within Giant Bomb to house all of the articles for each award as well as staff and moderator's top picks. In the years since, this subsection of the site has been lost. Some of it still viewable via the Wayback Machine here and here.
