Giant Bomb's Game of the Year Awards celebrates 2014's best and worst in the world of video games.
2014 was the year that Giant Bomb killed video games once and for all. After receiving a strange N64 cartridge in the mail, Dan tried to play it during UPF. Powering on the console with this cartridge inserted resulted in the eradication of all video games. With no video games to review and play, all of the Giant Bomb staff members went their own way. This led to Danny O'Dwyer creating a documentary about their plight. He called it "The Day Mario Cried: Life After Video Games".
Also, Destiny would somehow be named one of the three most disappointing games of the year AND the tenth best game of the year. 2014 was weird.
