The Secret Tape is an objective hidden throughout levels in the Tony Hawk series of skateboarding games. There is one per level and, in earlier titles, is a goal required to complete in order to progress. Later iterations of the franchise have used it as a simple collectible, unlocking goodies or, in certain cases, bonus levels. Tapes in early iterations of the series featured a "411VM" image on the front of the tape, it being the logo for a then-skateboarding "video magazine".
