Single-Player Hit Marker
CONCEPT
In most shooters, hit markers are strictly reserved for multiplayer. However, some games also use this concept in singleplayer to great effect, by announcing a bullet hit with a sound cue or some sort of graphic near the cross hairs. This serves to better alert the player to a successful hit, effectively bridging the gap between singleplayer and multiplayer.
