Many Circles of Magi exist in the world of Dragon Age. Throughout the continent of Thedas, any country under The Chantry of Light's power will feature a Circle. Mages are kept under lock and key for the duration of their lives.

Overview

One of the most prominent aspects of religion and philosophy in the Dragon Age franchise is the Circle of Magi. The mages who live there are always under the watchful eye of Templars, who are on-hand to slay any mage thought to be disobeying The Chantry (Concept)'s authority. The Circle seen the most is the one in Ferelden (Location) during Dragon Age: Origins, in which The Warden (Character) must make an important choice regarding The Circle and The Blight (Concept).
