Overview
Zero Gravity Combat was announced as a feature in the 2008 game Dead Space (Game) and that pretty much coined the term. However, the concept was not entirely new and it had in fact already made an impact in a previous title, Crysis (Game), which also made good use of this feature. Strictly speaking any space oriented action game could be said to include zero gravity combat, but it's in third or first person action games where the zero gravity is a step out of the ordinary that it makes has a real impact.
Peculiarities
Zero gravity combat is often disorienting and confusing due to the ability to constantly change perspective of the environment and the enemys possibility to attack from all angles.
