Hakunetsu Pro Yakyuu Ganba League
FRANCHISE »
A trio of baseball games for the Super Famicom. They were published by Epic/Sony Records and developed in-part by Sting Entertainment.

Overview

Hakunetsu Pro Yakyuu Ganba League, which roughly means "White Hot Pro Baseball Courage League" ("Ganba" is an exclamation of support, like "courage!" or "go for it!"), are three games that take a leaf from Namco's popular Famista/Family Stadium (Franchise) series to present a semi-serious baseball game with super deformed athletes and an overall cartoonish presentation. While the second and third game were never released outside of Japan, the first Hakunetsu Pro Yakyuu Ganba League was released in the US as Extra Innings (Game). Like the first RBI Baseball, Extra Innings kept the cartoony visuals of its source game.
