Alone in the Dark 2 is the sequel to Alone in the Dark and features the same mixture of cinematic action sequences as well as minor puzzle solving. The game is part of the original Alone in the Dark trilogy as developed by Infogrames Entertainment
Overview
Taking place one year after the original Alone in the Dark, Edward Carnby (Character) dons a tommy gun and takes on 1920's gangsters and ghost pirates to rescue a kidnapped child. When an old colleague disappears while investigating the kidnapping of young Grace Saunders, Edward Carnby (Character) pulls up his sleeves to get to the bottom of things and embarks on another journey deep into the haunted mansion, "Hell's Kitchen".
