Ballpoint Universe
A Side Scrolling Shooter developed by artist Leo Dasso. It was funded in March 2012 via Kickstarter.
Overview
The player begins the game as a doodle wandering the world. Through interacting with people they either learn more of the story, gain stickers, or find new levels to play. The shooting levels will net the player ink which can be used to upgrade their weapons or allow them to spin the chance wheel. There are several upgrade paths to choose from. The player can set their top weapon, their bottom weapon, their special weapon, and their chassis. Each can be upgraded with ink.
