Blokus Club with Bumpy Trot is a virtual board game developed and published by Irem for the PlayStation 2 (Platform) exclusively in Japan on November 17, 2005. It later received a portable release for the PlayStation Portable (Platform) on September 21, 2006 as Blokus Club Portable with Bumpy Trot, with an overseas release by Majesco Entertainment (Company) as Blokus Portable: Steambot Championship in North America on March 3, 2008 and in Europe on October 3, 2008. The first official video game adaptation of the real-life board game Blokus, Blokus Club / Blokus Portable features characters from the developer's 2005-2006 action RPG Steambot Chronicles (Game) (known in Japan as Bumpy Trot). The PS2 version features a unique "Bumpy Trot Mode" single-player campaign, while the PSP version features wi-fi LAN multiplayer (with a lobby system for up to 16 players and four-player GameSharing). As with the original board game, players must place polyomino pieces on the game board in a way so that it connects to another one of their pieces via a corner and it doesn't touch another one of their pieces via an edge. The player who puts more of their pieces on the board wins. Along with traditional four-player Blokus (with a 20×20 board), the game includes two-player Blokus Duo (with a 14×14 board).
