A PC Engine boxing game with an alternate brawler mode.

Overview

Bullfight Ring no Hasha ("Bullfight Ring of Champions") is a boxing game from Cream exclusive to the PC Engine. The player selects a boxer and a trainer and takes on a series of increasingly tougher opponents. The games uses a horizontal 2D perspective of the ring, except when one of the boxers has been knocked down: the view then changes to a top-down perspective as they struggle to get back up before the ten-count finishes. The game also supports a "survival" tournament mode and a "fighting" mode, which is a side-scrolling brawler where the player character fights through a number of different opponents on the streets. This mode also has power-ups, shops and flying score items that the player has to catch.
