Day of Destruction
Day of Destruction is a virtual reality game that allows players to "embrace their inner alien" and wreak destruction on twelve planets providing over fifteen hours of intense gameplay. Many players see a similarity between Day of Destruction and the movie Independence Day. The massive ships from the movie have certainly become a sci-fi icon for the size and power that might be possessed by an alien civilization. The core concept of this game is that the player is the alien, which is the opposite of most sci-fi games where the player is fighting the aliens. The first release will be for the HTC Vive. Support for the Oculus Rift and other virtual reality platforms will quickly follow.
