Overview
Dr Seuss' The Cat in the Hat, known in-game as Cat in the Hat, is a puzzle-adventure game developed by DC Studios and published by NewKidCo (Company) for the PlayStation (Platform) in North America on April 23, 2004. A video game adaptation of the 1950's children's book of the same name, The Cat in the Hat retells the story (in its original book form) while players guide the eponymous anthropomorphic cat around the house to find objects. Between each of the three levels is a bonus mini-game. The game is notable for its graphics being drawn in the style of the original children's book. It later received a separate handheld adaptation for the Game Boy Advance (Platform), developed by Game Titan (Company) and published by NewKidCo on April 26, 2005. Known in-game as The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss, this version differs in that it is a mini-game collection (some of which are from the PS1 version).
