Epanalepsis is a minimalistic point-and-click adventure developed by Cameron Kunzelman, an indie developer based in Atlanta. The game is divided into three chapters set in different time periods within the same city.
The first chapter features Rachel in 1993. She lives on a run-down block, seems to be unemployed and goes drinking in the same bar every night. In the second chapter and 2013, the player takes the role of Anthony. He is most passionate about computer games. The final chapter is set in 2033, when the city has grown enormous.
The project was launched on Kickstarter on July 11 2014, asking for $4,000 to be able to complete the game. When the campaign closed, 450 backers had pledged $9,206. This meant two stretch goals of added content was also met.
