Overview

Vs. Gals Panic For You, also known as Vs. Gals Panic 4 Yuu, is an action-puzzle game developed and released by Kaneko and released for arcades (using thir Super Kaneko Nova System (Concept) hardware) in 1996. The fourth installment of the Gals Panic (Franchise) series of eroge, Gals Panic For You is the first to solely use hand-drawn anime-style illustrations (rather than pictures of real models) and one of the few games in the series to not include undressing, instead focusing on cute/erotic poses and bikini/swimsuit pictures. Along with a new "Panic Attack" system (where surrounded enemies can be used as weapons), the game features a new two-player Versus mode where both players race to complete each stage first while sending "Panic Attacks" to each-other. It later received two Japan-exclusive home conversions on September 27, 1996, with the Sega Saturn release (by Mycom (Company)) as Gals Panic SS and the Sony PlayStation version on September 27, 1996 as Silhouette Stories (stylized as Silhouette ☆ Stories). Some of these have different designs, with the PS1 version adding a story. The PS1 version was later digitally re-released by GungHo via PlayStation Network (Concept) as a PSone Classics (Concept) title on November 5, 2014.
