Overview

Game no Kanzume: Sega Games Can Vol. 1, known in-game as Game no Kanzume Vol. 1, is a game compilation developed and published by Sega (Company) for the Mega CD exclusively in Japan on March 18, 1994.

Released in-tandem with the second volume, Sega Games Can Vol. 1 features 11 Mega Drive games that were originally downloadable as part of the system's digital Sega Game Toshokan service, several of which were updated with a redbook audio soundtrack. It features an anime version of prominent voice actress Megumi Hayashibara (Person) as the collection's "guide".

As the title suggests, both volumes are unique in that the discs are packed in "can"-shaped containers, with this game being in a red-colored container and the second volume being in a blue-colored container. Most games from both volumes were later combined into the Mega Drive installment Game no Kanzume: Sega Games Can Otokuyou.
