Overview

Gundam: The Battle Master is a 2D sci-fi mecha fighting game developed by Natsume (Company) and published by Bandai for the Sony PlayStation exclusively in Japan on June 20, 1997. From the studio behind Shin Kidou Senki Gundam Wing: Endless Duel, The Battle Master is a traditional 2D fighting game based on the Gundam (Franchise) universe's original "Universal Century" era, with mobile suits from Mobile Suit Gundam (and its spin-offs), Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. Despite its roster of mobile suits from the series, all of the pilots are new to the series, and the game features an original story. It later received multiple sequels, often released overseas under the the "Gundam: Battle Assault" name.
