Overview

Haou Taikei: Ryu Knight ("Supreme King's Compendium: Dragon Knight") is a Super Famicom exclusive action RPG from Japan Art Media. The plot concerns a paladin-in-training, Adeu, whose quest to recover pieces of a legendary weapon takes him across the world. The game is based on a serial manga and its anime adaptation, the latter of which was still airing when this video game adaptation was released. The gameplay is action-oriented. Players control Adeu as he runs around the game's various maps and strikes enemies with sword slashes. The game has an open-world element in that the player can select a region of the continent and travel there via his mech suit (the titular "Ryuu Knight").
