Overview
Harlem Globetrotters: World Tour, known in-game in the GBA version as The Original Harlem Globetrotters and in the DS version as The Original Harlem Globetrotters: World Tour, is a two-on-two belt-scrolling basketball game developed by Full Fat and published by DSI Games in North America for the Game Boy Advance (Platform) on October 2, 2006 and the Nintendo DS (Platform) on March 7, 2007, with a European release for both consoles by ZOO Digital Publishing on November 24, 2006.
Based on the traveling basketball exhibition team known as the Harlem Globetrotters (Concept), World Tour puts the team in basketball matches against a variety of teams throughout the world, where they must counter no-nonsense basketball with tricks and antics. Unlike the previous basketball game based on the team, this game eschews most of the sport's rules in favor of a two-on-two experience similar to the NBA Jam (Franchise) and NBA Hangtime (Game) series.
