Intelligent Design: An Evolutionary Sandbox the first game released by Pill Bug Interactive. Inspired by games like Spore (Franchise) and Viva Piñata, Intelligent Design: An Evolutionary Sandbox gives you the task of building and maintaining a stable ecosystem on an, initially, lifeless world. The player can create species of plants, herbivores and carnivores. These organisms interact with each other based on their internal genetics. The genetics are passed down to new generations and, since only the strong will survive, evolution takes place.

The developer released the AI source code as a reward for a player unlocking the final achievement.
