Overview

The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest: Cover-Up at Roswell, also known as Cartoon Network Presents The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest: Cover-Up at Roswell, or simply as Cartoon Network Presents The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, is a sci-fi puzzle-adventure game developed by Virgin Sound and Vision (Company) for Windows PCs and Macintosh computers in August 1996. It later received a re-release in 1999 by DreamCatcher Interactive as The Adventures of Jonny Quest. Released in tandem with the Cartoon Network (Franchise) adventure cartoon The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest (itself a revival of the classic Jonny Quest (Franchise) series), Cover-Up at Roswell is similar to adventure games like Myst (Game) in that players use a mouse-based interface to move between static scenes and interact with puzzles in order to proceed. The game makes use of full-motion video cartoon scenes, all made up of footage from several episodes of the original cartoon. Some segments of the game are designed to be viewed with included 3D glasses. Despite using footage from several early episodes, the game's story follows a singular story involving following the teenage adventurer trio Jonny Quest (Character), Hadji (Character), and Jessie Bannon (Character), as well as Dr. Benton Quest and "Race" Bannon, as they travel the world searching for objects jettisoned from a U.F.O. as it crashed into a New Mexico desert, all while contending with governmental agents.
