Story

Once a normal teenager, a mysterious fiery crash binds the essences of Kavinsky and his Ferrari Testarossa, granting him near-invulnerability and electric powers. He now roams the eastern United States on an undefined quest to beat-up street thugs, outrun dessert-biker thugs, and outsmart the police (who are also implied to be thugs).

Kavinsky (the game) largely exists to modestly expand the mythos behind the character who was previously shown in the music videos "Protovision" and "Odd Look" in which he out-drove a detective and saved a young waitress from would-be rapists. Kavinsky was created and is by portrayed French house artist Vincent Belorgey, whose 80s-inspired electronic music serves as the game's soundtrack.

Brawling

The Odd Look

Fighting is fairly simple. Players punch and kick various street punks, building up a combo meter until they can release Kavinsky's iconic Odd Look power.

Driving

There are three driving levels in the game which allow the player to experience the literal oneness of man and machine.

AR

While using a well-defined comic book or magazine cover as an AR anchor, users will defend the Ferrari from street thugs in three alternate reality levels. It is essentially the brawl levels with an added protect-mission.

Camera Angles and Game Style

Default 3/4

The game allows the player to switch between different camera angles and render styles reminiscent of late-80s video game platforms. This is purely cosmetic and has no effect on gameplay.
