Kleptocrat is a card-based strategy game for iOS developed by the Mintz Group and BumbleBear Games. The player assumes the role of a corrupt public official attempting to use their ill-gotten gains to buy luxury goods while evading the Investigator's watchful eye. Using action cards, patterned after known strategies for money laundering and offshore structuring, the player moves money tokens and plays cards to buy Enjoy points and manage exposure to risk. The player survives their term in office and unlocks new cards if they are able to purchase 5 Enjoy cards before the Investigator can collect the 5 pieces of evidence needed to depose them.
