LAWMAGE ACADEMY

Lawmage Academy is a role-playing game set in the continent of Magusgaia in the year 1050. The player takes on the role of a first-year student in Lawmage Academy, which was established to produce Lawmages to help protect the continent from internal and external threats. The game is currently being developed by Verinius, a solo independent game developer.

FEATURES

Houses

The game features 4 possible Houses where the player can possibly be assigned: Foxhelm, Drakewood, Soulstice, and Vissage. Each House has its own exclusive characters, items, and other in-game content.

Classes

Players can enroll in classes and learn spells, recipes, and gain items while acquainting themselves with the game's lore. In the beginning of the game, students are required to take all the Basic Classes. <span></span> After passing all of the basic classes, the player is allowed to take whatever classes the player wants at his/her own leisure.

Day System

During Homeroom Class the students are told that they will spend a total of 100 days in the Academy. Players can engage in activities in during the day and at night. However, the activities available to the player at night will be limited compared to those available during the day.

Combat System

The game features a turn-based battle system where the player can attack using various weapon types and elemental attacks. The player may also guard, use items, perform Aura Skills, or flee. All characters have an Aura Shield''''counter which decreases when damaged by an element they are weak against. When the Aura Shield counter turns to 0, the character is Broken for one turn, which makes the character skip a turn and take additional damage while in that state.
