Overview
Microsoft Classic Board Games is a virtual board game collection developed by Oxford Softworks (Company) and published by Microsoft Games for the PC (Platform) on December 2000. A successor to the studio's earlier Intelligent Strategy Games 10 (Game), Microsoft Classic Board Games is a collection of 11 board game adaptations, including Chess (Concept), Checkers (Concept), Backgammon (Concept), Reversi (Concept), Chinese Checkers (Concept), 4-In-A-Row, Shogi (Concept), Dominoes (Concept), Go (Concept), Chinese Chess, and Gomoku (Concept). It also features an official adaptation of Microsoft's earlier mahjong solitaire game Taipei (Game). It is the last game by Oxford Softworks.
