A Konami RPG developed for the Nintendo Famicom and based on the manga series of the same name.

Overview

Mouryou Senki Madara ("Record of Spirits War Madara") is an RPG developed by Konami for the Nintendo Famicom and is based on the manga and anime Mouryou Senki Madara, known overseas as simply Madara or Madara Saga. The game was never officially localized into English or released outside of Japan, but a fan translation was completed in 2006. It was followed by Mouryou Senki Madara 2 (Game) for the Super Famicom in 1993. Gameplay is similar to turn-based RPGs of the period, but the player has a more passive role in combat. Instead of directly telling characters how to act, they will act autonomously until given alternative orders.
