Overview
NEO AQUARIUM - The King of Crustaceans is a 3D competitive shooter developed bu Nuusoft for the PC. It was originally released in 2012 on Playism and was later brought over to Steam on June 8, 2015 after going through Steam's Greenlight program. Players battle with different types of crabs, lobsters, and barnacles using skills specific to arthropods (molting, self-amputation) as well as lasers and other projectiles. Battles take place in "NEO AQUARIUMS" , dimensionally linked aquariums that humans use to promote the evolution of marine organisms. There are three modes available, Story Mode, Free Battle Mode and Aquarium Edit Mode. Story Mode allows players to battle all types of aquatic life and reveals the interesting story behind NEO AQUARIUM's universe. Free Battle Mode allows players to compete in 1-4 player local multiplayer or online multiplayer via Steam network. Aquarium Edit Mode allows the player to customize a stage using the parts and creatures earned during Story Mode.
