Overview

Qix II (also known as QIX II - Tournament) is an action-puzzle game developed and released by Taito's American division in arcades in 1982. A sequel to the 1981 game Qix, Qix II updates some of the game's color choices (with Fast Draw claims now grey instead of blue) and the game interface (showing which player is starting their turn). It also adds a new gameplay feature where players earn an extra life if they manage to clear the round claiming a certain higher threshold than the goal (with the default being 90% of the playfield).
