Overview
Realm of the Tempest is an indie puzzle fantasy RPG game. Created by Bramble Gate Studios a single developer, this RPG introduces time control features never seen before to the genre. Many RPGs have speedrunning communities online, but only Realm of the Tempest has innovated support for this competitive sport, built in.
Gameplay
Gameplay consists of turn based combat infused with puzzle minigames. In between each turn the player may collect glyphs that boost their character's abilities. When enough glyphs are collected the player can speed up the game to rush the results. All forms of waiting and tedium can be eliminated with strategy.
