A runner style platformer, created as a companion to legendary anime director Katsuhiro Otomo's anthology movie Short Peace.
Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day is a game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and Crispy's as a special game component of the Short Peace anime anthology film. It was directed by Yohei Kataoka (Person) and written by Suda 51. Although the main gameplay stages consist of running to the right in a platforming-style environment, the boss encounters change the gameplay significantly. The main focus is on the bizarre story which is delivered through animated cutscenes done by various animation studios with their own completely different art styles. The game is designed to be cleared in a single sitting (~2 hours).
