Overview

Shrek: Swamp Kart Speedway is a comedic-fantasy kart racer developed by Prolific ant published by TDK Mediactive for the Game Boy Advance (Platform) in North America on March 20, 2002 and in Europe on April 12, 2002.

Based on the 2001 DreamWorks CGI film Shrek (Franchise), Swamp Kart Speedway puts Shrek and other fairytale-themed characters from the film in powerup-laden kart races similar to the Mario Kart (Franchise) series.

It is the first kart racer based on the series, which later received Shrek Smash n' Crash Racing and Shrek Kart, and was later part of the DreamWorks racing games DreamWorks Super Star Kartz (Game) and DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing.
