Overview

Shrek: Treasure Hunt is a 3D comedic-fantasy platformer game developed by The Code Monkeys and published by TDK Mediactive (under their short-lived "TDK Impulse" label) for the PlayStation (Platform) in North America on October 18, 2002 and in Europe on November 29, 2002. The sole PS1 game based on DreamWorks' Shrek (Franchise) series of CGI films, Treasure Hunt has Shrek (Character) searching for various picnic items stolen from him before his big picnic with Princess Fiona (Character). Most of the game is running around a 3D open world as Shrek, collecting enough items to unlock new mini-games to win back his stolen items. Completing all 10 mini-games completes the game. It is one of two games in TDK's "Impulse" label of budget games (sold at $9.99), the other being The Land Before Time: Big Water Adventure.
