Super Speed Race V is a racing game developed and released by Taito for the arcade platform, and distributed by Midwayin North America (Location). It is a sequel to the arcade games Speed Race (Game) (1974) and Speed Race Twin (Game) (1976). Super Speed Race is one of the first video games to feature RGB colour graphics.
In Super Speed Race V players use the cabinet's steering wheel to navigate the car around the track. The game utilizes a single gas pedal to make the car accelerate. For every 3,000 points players earn, the game will extend the timer.
