Swinger-Man is a first-person VR game about swinging like Spider-Man with realistic, momentum-based physics.

The game was released on Steam and Oculus Store early December 2019 and supports HTC Vive and Oculus Rift headsets.

Time trial

In this game mode the player tries to get through courses of obstacles in the shortest amount of time. The levels have increasing difficulty and gradually introduces new skills to learn.

Easy levels teach the player about the timing of attaching and releasing the rope as well as controlling speed and jump distance.
Medium adds turns and corners to the mix and controlling the rope length.
Hard adds more vertical travel and requires more extreme and precise movements.

Players can compete against friends on Steam and Oculus and there is also a global leaderboard to race against.

Free roaming

This game mode allows the player to explore the city freely and play around with the swing mechanics. The player can climb up vast skyscrapers or try to navigate small alleys of apartments where the small rope length requires quick reactions and good timing.

In this mode the player never crashes and simply bounces off the ground and walls, which makes it more comfortable to experiment and play with maneuvers.

There is also a small RC plane roaming the city that the player can try to chase and catch mid-air, which requires very precise timing and control of the swing path.
