Overview

TRAMCITY HAKODATE is an indie train driving simulator developed and digitally published by TRAMWORKS (Company) for thePC (Platform) as an Early Access title on January 4, 2024. In the game, players drive a light-rail electric tram through the city of Hakodate in the northern Japanese region of Hokkaido (Location), transporting passengers to their destinations. It was developed under supervision from the Hakodate City Tram Department, with authentic sounds (including the actual announcer) and measurements. As of its initial release, the game only covers the Main Line portion of Route 5 between Hakodate-dokku-mae (in front of Hakodate Dock) and Hakodate-eki-mae (in front of Hakodate Station), with further expansions planned. It also currently only has one driveable tram, the 8000-series.
