Tenjutsu is a game with roguelike elements where a woman must fight her way through the city to retake control from the four syndicates that maintain a stranglehold on it. Using her martial arts skills and other weapons and techniques she picks up along the way, including the titular Tenjutsu, capable of killing enemies in ten seconds. The player will be able to take on the syndicates in whatever order they wish. However, after taking down their first boss, the others will begin consolidating their power in the city and their minions will become harder to take down, forcing the player to choose the order they want to clean up the city. Prototype Tenjutsu was originally developed as a 48 hour game, released for free on itch.io (here), where the player must save their dojo from a rival clan that has invaded it. The main character could beat up enemies to collect skulls, but the only way to kill enemies there was to inflict a "deathmark" on enemies that would kill them in ten-second increments. More deathmarks would have to be applied to stronger enemies before they could be killed by Tenjutsu, with the deathmark counter erased if they didn't have enough by the time the ten seconds rolled around.
