Overview
Developed primarily by Virtuos, this "remastered" version of the 2006 Game of the Year features many elements of what would be considered a remake. The graphics have been completely rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5 (Concept), which gives the game a modern look plus better animations in areas like combat and conversations. Many quality of life changes and features have been added as well, while still keeping the same general feel of the original in tact.
New Features & Changes
- Leveling up has been streamlined and more similar to Skyrim by allowing players to distribute "virtue points" into the eight primary stats upon each new level.
- Redesigned UI elements.
- New voice recordings, which means way fewer repeated voices between NPCs.
- Players can now sprint (limited by stamina).
- Better third-person perspective options.
Expansions
The Elder Scrolls IV: Knights of the Nine and The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles are included with both standard and deluxe versions of the game.
